Joshua MacEachern
Joshua MacEachern is a Mechanical Engineering Master's student at the University of Alaska Fairbanks. He has broad experience as a maker with a variety of tools and technologies including 3D Printing, laser cutting, and microcontroller programming. His research focus is in the field of open-source lab equipment, with a primary goal to reduce cost barriers to entry for research. Through Alaska Center ICE, he was able to make a connection with Aquagga, Inc., a company focused on eliminating PFAS (also known as forever chemicals) from wet-waste streams. His work as a Project Engineer with Aquagga allowed him to explore the broader side of small business and startups.
